You can do it, some people have in the past, but I wouldn't recommend it lol. If the tat ends up perfect I would still feel sort of weird about it. If it ends up bad ( from a poor tattoo artist who treats the original art weirdly ) I would feel really bad about it haha. If you do it you should do it for yourself and not care what my opinion of it is, because my opinion could be negative. I'd probably just say " cool " tho cus the feeling of ppl disliking a permanent tattoo would sting lol. I also wouldnt wanna retweet it or anything I think.. because I don't want to encourage it. But if someone REALLY wants to get one on themselves I would feel bad about trying to discourage them completely from it. But I hate commitments so tattoos are scary to me.

That is entirely fair and I understand completely. Rest assured, if I did commit, I would go to a parlour and an artist with a solid reputation and experience. I'm picturing something like an oldschool, safe(ish) for work pinup design, purely for me. I just don't like the idea of going ahead with something like that without discussing it with the original artist

I get you! And I appreciate you asking! I mostly just want people to be aware that if they get an Emelie tat that doesn't guarantee I will share it on my twitter and there's no guarantee it will make ME happy. ( Even if the thought of someone liking my character enough to get them tattooed is flattering! ) But if it makes YOU happy and you feel really strongly about it I wouldnt say no! :)
