Content

* Nothing will change to my Patreon content! If you like the current Patreon system of recieving rewards then you can skip this massive block of text, but if you want to know more about my Gumroad, why I made it and it's possible benefits then you can read on! *

I felt this was an important thing for me to touch on / try to explain because it concerns the content you're paying for on this platform now being avaliable for purchase through a different site.

As some of you might have noticed if you follow me on my various websites I've made a gumroad recently.

My gumroad hosts previously sent Patreon rewards at a slightly increased cost. ( 1 dollar extra per monthly pack which ends up being around 10% )
I decided to make a Gumroad because people often ask me if they can get access to previous updates, or they pledge after seeing me post an image publically only to be disappointed that the PSD they were looking for had already been sent through a PM.

Other reasons for this are personal, being able to earn some money from previous patreon rewards is good but it also lets me not worry as much about releasing finished images that are in a consistent style. If I paint a bunch of images in a smooth rendering style and people pledge wanting PSDs of that kind, then they may be disappointed when I for example try cel shading in the next update.
Giving people access to buying older PSDs means people who are looking for some insight to my layer setup can get the exact PSD(s) of their choosing instead of pledging to my Patreon and hoping for something similar to be released next.
This also means that if your money is tight and you only want specific content, you can wait until you see uploads you like show up on Gumroad and purchase them then.

I know a lot of people are here simply to support me, and I'm truly thankful for that!

I mentally approach my Patreon more like a subscription service than a "tip jar" for my 3$+ tier because I know some people are here for the goodies ( Which is why I pledge to other creators on Patreon 90% of the time! I don't have enough of an income to tip all the artists I like without getting something in return! )
Subscription services like this can be unfulfilling tho since you don't know exactly what you're going to get every month.
Gumroad gives you a clearer picture of what PSDs you're getting and how many sketch files are included for your money which is why it may be prefferable to some people.

It might sound like I'm praising Gumroad a lot here hoping people will jump ship to support me that way instead, but that's not at all my intention! I'm just trying to be transparent with you so you know your options!

I personally prefer having Patreon support because it's consistent and helps me estimate my monthly income!

Finally I'd just like to say thank you so much for your support and time! You're the best! ヽ(*(OO)*)ノ
