Sneak Peek into new Arcane essay (Patreon)

Hey guys,

wanted to let you know new episodes of both Attack on Titan and Legend of Korra are in the folders. AoT season 2, here we go!

Also, I wanted to let you know I am working on this new Arcane essay about conflict of classes, differences between Piltover and Zaun, its habitants and human connections that come to exist despite these differences - so of course we'll be discussing Caitlyn and Vi, Ekko and Heimerdinger and such. Here's the very beginning of this essay. If you've got any thoughts on that topic, connections that you noticed, differences of treatment, I'd love to hear them as I am still very much in the process of writing :)

I love the idea! 😍 I would suggest to also have a look at the Victor/Jayce and Vander/Grayson connections on this topic. I could totally see Caitlyn (& Vi?) and Ekko stepping in the footsteps of Vander and Grayson on the way of "healing" P&Z a little or at least de-escalate the tensions. But we will never see both cities "reunited" for sure. Not in League! 😉 There are simply too many champions that would lose their whole meaning and purpose this way. But it is always nice to do some "what ifs"... 😉 Can't wait for the essay. 🧡

Interesting you'd mention them, I did discuss them briefly in the essay however without making them one of the connections I focus on, here's the part I talk about, curious to hear your thoughts about that: "I could have started with another bond – that of Jayce and Viktor, however – and you might disagree with me here – neither one of them fully stands for where they come from today. Jayce originally comes from Frejlord, he was given a chance in Piltover and given a patron within the Kiramman clan resulting in him making his way into the upper class, eventually even becoming a council member - but it was a struggle and a bumpy road. Similarly, Viktor, on the other hand, does come from Zaun, however even Jayce needed to be reminded of that. He fought his way up and eventually became an assistant to Heimerdinger at the University, gaining a respected position particularly after co-inventing hextech. While their relationship surely goes beyond any classes, their situation to start with did not differ as much making it easier to connect."
