Uncle Nick - Cotton Wardrobe Sheets (6) + Series Lore (Patreon)

Hi there! Ready for an art + lore drop?

First though here's a WIP I'm working on for KaijuKing. We're going for something that encapsulates the two as they are currently - a buddy duo, with Nick rocking his blues. Love how it's coming along!

ART | Asset Sheets + Lore

Here we've got her base outfit plus a new accessory - her digicam! When out, she wears it like a crossbody bag. Perfect for taking impromptu photos of her family, random plants, or a potential crime happening in real-time.

Below is her rotating wardrobe with various outfits included. A design element I chose to expand on was the star on her original dress and used that as a reflection of her character arc. Along with that is the colour purple, which is thrown in every outfit as well as an ode to Judy, the rabbit she wishes she could be like.

UN was conceptualized as a laid-back sort of minisode that primarily took place in Judy's house, but over time it's developed into something a bit bigger. While the original idea was calmer with zero stakes, my current iteration has them out in town meeting old and new characters and putting all three of them in dangerous situations starting right off with the first episode where Cotton embarks on her own guided by Zoogle Maps through the city streets.

But I eventually wanted to tie in a mystery that Judy was trying to solve throughout the miniseries and through plot she, Nick and Cotton eventually wind up in a dangerous situation in Tundratown in one ep - below are Cotton's outfits for that episode. The hat was important and I wanna figure a way to keep that in XD

 All of this is still very much so subject to a TON of change. 

Note: While the first episode originally took place on the streets I've found myself needing to change it because it was way too similar to the first episode of Zootopia+ with the introduction of new character "Molly".

Last up is this little uniform! Not super important, but every little detail needs consideration. If you remember the series bible, Cotton's parents wanted to move to the city and among other things enroll her in a school the parents really liked. While the idea of a new school where she's not one of one hundred and one bunnies is appealing it's important to note that she quickly dislikes the idea after realizing she'd have to wear a uniform. The school is located in an area of Savanna Central the slightly overlooks Tundra, Sahara and the RFD so the school incorporates the city flag's colours in its uniform. 

Ah yes, and Finnick is here too! Nick has quite the mixed family with not only his fennec fox but also his bunny rabbit baby! How does that work? XD Anyway, since more of the story is taking place in the city I wanted to give Finnick an opportunity to show up because I really like his character. The pleather jacket Cotton's wearing here is Finnick's. Interesting development in my current iteration is that Cotton has a teeensy tendency to swipe things, which eventually comes back to bite her in a later episode (but not by Fin!). 

And that's it for tonight! Everything is still up in the air and I have yet to sit down with others to like....100% commit. But my brain and fingers are moving ahead right now and I won't stop them until the time comes to make a decision. Thanks for enjoying my art thus far!
