For whatever reason, all these pages are blue. And I should've gone to bed 2 hours ago. I might share one or two of these on DA or Twitter to grow our little community. But for now, enjoy the late night artwork!

Wed night/Thurs morning: I'm finally getting Nick's nose right! I was supposed to be on break from this week's art courses, but sometimes I don't know how to break like a sane person. I like how these sketches turned out though!

Wed: I spent the morning rewatching the academy scene for action poses to practice gesture drawing. There are more drawings, but I did those in my physical sketchbook.

Mon: On my first day off, I started off with this. There's another piece, but it's too sketchy to show. Notice how there are two shadows on the train XD. Judy was removed, but her shadow remains. That's the way things happen on the Polar Express.

And because I have no chill, I beefed up the previous image I shared with you guys to notify people on Twitter and DA when I'm streaming. The BG would change periodically. I was going to stream this Thursday morning, but it's payday... and I've been waiting patiently to drive 30mins north to splurge on fancy french toast and some Burger King at the mall. The next stream will either be Christmas-y, random, or a request stream!

On a related note, a friend told me he uses his TV screen as a monitor to view his artwork. I tried it myself, and I don't like to brag...

... but that right there looks good.

Good night, guys!

Awww, Judy's so sweet to bring Nick a care package like that! It's a cute sketch, Qal! I love how exasperated Nick looks in response to his drill instructor. The Polar Express sketch is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!! It's one of my favorite Christmas movies and I'd love to see you do something more with the concept if you feel the urge! And don't worry about not streaming. You take care of yourself first! You've earned it! Hope you enjoy your BK and french toast! And I have to agree: your art on the widescreen looks darn good! Thanks for sharing all this, Qal!
