MS - Removing the Rust (Patreon)

Let the three-week winter break begin! But oh man, am I rusty. Once you stop doing something, it really messes you up once you try to jump back in it. Daily practice is important (and keeps the Master Sketchbook filled)! Today I started Aaron Blaise's art courses in order to improve my art [for a new project I'm excited to start], starting with his "Drawing Foxes" course, so naturally I warmed up using the LT/feral versions instead of the anthro versions.

Banter, Banter

Jason Bateman interviews are fraught with witty banter. Listening to him talk outside of Zootopia helps me think of what Nick might say (the number of times Bateman says "how dare you" in regular conversation is laughable). I want to avoid having Nick sound like a teen or in his twenties and instead get some of that special brand of charm that comes with age. This is the first time in months that I've actually made a comic page (real or not) for LT and it makes me so happy since I think about the story all the time!

I found a video on Twitter from Disneyland Shanghai (aka Wildehopps Central) of the two doing some silly shenanigans on a float and wanted to capture it here; Nick grabs Judy's paws and eats away until Judy smears her hands on his head. I thought it was cute, and I need drawing mileage to get back up to speed!
