New Comic Dropping This April🦊! (Patreon)

Ahhhh spring. A time of new life and new beginnings. It's only fitting that I now happily announce that my brainchild, Uncle Nick, will be springing to your Patreon feed in comic form starting this April!

Set immediately after the events of Zootopia, the plot follows ZPA graduate Nick as he preps for his new career as a ZPD officer with the help of Judy. Doubts on his ability to make a difference in the eyes of the city are only exacerbated when he's tasked not only with helping Judy solve a new case, but also double-babysitting Judy's timid and skeptical BunnyBurrow niece. 

The story's tone mirror's that of the film's and, unlike most of my past art, will serve as my headcanon's unofficial continuation of the franchise. The goal is to complete at least 250 - 280 pages that would then be printed into a proper comic.  Side projects, if there is time, will revolve around animation or illustrations within this, Zootopia, Z+ or Zootopia 2's storylines. I'd like to create physical merch as well, but my head can get pretty big when I've got my industry/marketing hat on lol.

Tier changes and consolidation will reflect my Patreon's new direction as higher tiers will gain access to draft pages, new pages early, as well as the messy musings of a comic writer in the form of every-changing character profiles, sketches and pitch decks (early in some cases and if this is something folks want).

Some know that I have grown tired of still illustrations and have always wanted to dive into story based art (animations, comics, etc.). This concept has been living rent-free in my head for years, yet the fear of taking on a long form story has been extremely intimidating and imposter syndrome is real. But thanks to all the positive responses to this idea, as well as pulse checks stating you all would like more, I'm taking a leap of faith.
