General update (Patreon)

Hello patrons! I wanted to first start by thanking all of you who have stuck with me thus far! I wanted to give a few updates about the goings on with my art and plans for the future.

I struggle a bit with depression, and very much work based off tempo. I have some friends keeping me honest, having me work every day (besides a few off days to keep my sanity). I hope there is a general perception I am being more active and care a great deal about delivering a certain amount of work monthly.

Based off the poll, the current goal is to release 4 pieces a month minimum, with the hopes and likelihood that it will be even more! For this month, a third piece should be done today or tomorrow, and another piece before the end of the month. I’m always trying to finish a sketch, inks, or coloring daily, meaning the average piece takes about 3 days to finish. Realistically, with weekends off, it would be reasonable to expect me to do 6-7 pieces a month, when I’m fully adapted to my new schedule.

From now on, I’ll be doing a community post where I sum up everything I’ve accomplished that month, and talk about plans for next month. I think this will help keep things transparent, and help me stay motivated in delivering work to you. This way, you can also see how much work was actually done!

I admit, to be candid, I could probably be working more than I am. I feel like I’m overcoming a lot of mental issues, but it’s a slow climb. Still, I feel as though there will be a point where I can maybe start finishing a sequence every 2 days, and maybe eventually in a single day. Obviously I’d need proper breaks, but that’s the goal I’m working towards.

I am curious: as a patron, do you have any wants or expectations of me I could add to make this a better experience? I have plans for future Patreon exclusive comics and content, but I’ve been hard focusing on just producing as much work as a should be. Let me know!
