Hi! I am going to be changing/restructuring my patreon tiers.

Before going into detail:

TL;DR: The goal of this patreon is to make this job more like a salary, and less reliant on living commission to commission. I would love more free time to work on personal tf ideas and comics, without relying heavily on the randomness of commissioners. I would like to reward my patrons best I can for helping me achieve this. These changes are being made in that interest.

Changes!

Change 1: Changing $1 tier to $2 tier

Due to how patreon processes payment, $1 payments take a major hit before I get to see any of that money, so realistically, a $1 tier goes more towards patreon than it does towards me. *IF* you've been a $1 patron for a long time, and this is a good excuse for your to jump ship, I totally understand. As someone who admittedly doesn't have a lot of money, I get how every dollar can count.

Change 2: More exclusive content for $5 tier

I can't tangibly offer this yet, but I intend to start investing in more 5-7 page comics, which will be exclusive to patrons at this tier. I like the idea of more committed fans being rewarded for being willing to help me out more. The goal would be to finish one of these monthly, or perhaps every other month, since I would still need time to work on bigger pay comics, commissions, and other projects. Either way, this is something I want to work on, more tiny comics given through the patreon etc etc.

Change 3: A new $7 tier that will offer my newest pay comic, as well as all the other benefits.

Obviously this tier won't exist until the paycomic offering exists. Just a way to receive my paycomic through the patreon while also getting all that other good stuff.

The ultimate goals:

Honestly, my goals are relatively humble I think.

First goal: $500 a month, which would be enough for me to take on way less commissions and spend a week or two more time purely on original content, like comics for the patreon.

Second goal: $1000 a month. Commissions would become much more about extra income vs having to rely on it entirely to pay bills. I would live much more happy and comfortable, and try to find ways to turn that freedom into cool work for my patrons (and non patron fans)

Third goal: Anything $1500+. I would officially be self sustaining. Not living luxuriously or anything, but my current living situation is pretty cheap, and all of my needs would be fulfilled with this amount per month. Any commissions at that point would be cake, and I would have a lot more time for personal ideas, comics, animations, whatever. The world would be our oyster.

I hope I have laid out what I'm thinking and why these changes. I am open to feedback, so don't be shy if you got any. Thanks!
