NEW SEASON, NEW PROJECTS! (Patreon)

Dear friends, We have great projects and hopes for this new sailing season. We would like to be able to sail to the Island of Ithaca in Greece, a mythical site in the Mediterranean thanks to the famous poem by Konstantinos Kavafis (1911), based on Homer's Odyssey.

As the poem says, what is important in itself is not the island of Itaka, but the long journey to it, and all the adventures experienced.

This journey will take us to new areas of the Mediterranean, including southern Sicily, the Islands of Malta, Pantelleria, Lampedusa, Linosa, and southern Italy.

To be able to do all, this this year we will leave earlier than usual, and to be able to keep in touch with you more fluently, we have installed the STARLINK satellite communication system in My Life, so for the first time we will have high-speed internet during the whole trip, no matter how remote the place where we are.

Queridos amigos, Tenemos grandes proyectos e ilusiones para esta nueva temporada de navegación. Nos gustaría poder navegar hasta la  Isla de Itaca en Grecia, un sitio mitico del Mediterraneo gracias al famoso poema de Konstantinos Kavafis (1863-1933), basado en la Odisea de Homero.

Como dice el poema lo importante en si, no es la isla de Itaca, sino el largo viaje hasta ella, y todas las aventuras vividas.

Este viaje nos llevara hasta nuevas zonas del Mediterraneo, como el sur de Sicilia, las Islas de Malta, Panteleria, Lampedusa, Linosa, y el sur de Italia.

Para poder realizar todo ello este año partiremos antes de lo habitual y para poder seguir en contacto con vosotros con mas fluidez, hemos instalado en el My Life el sistema de comunicación via satelite STARLINK por lo que por primera, vez tendremos internet de alta velocidad durante todo el viaje, por muy remoto que sea el sitio donde nos encontremos.
