I will say this is for Furuya. He obvious is in bad form, but those around him aren't even properly helping him. When Ejiun was in bad form there was at least Chris there to help him. Miyuki tries with both, but at the same time he is the whole team captain and a still a kid. The coaches are just expecting him to power through it, and as a result he is doing the same.

So much in this episode to talk about. But the things I enjoy is obviously Eijun shining. Also I love his stance after he strikes out Hoshida, just screams "I'm that guy". Also Ochiai telling coach to pretty much pull Furuya. Such a good moment for him considering hes been a Furuya fan boy since day one . Great reaction, can't wait to enjoy the rest of the ride.

Kataoka definitely got emotionally compromised by Furuyas baseball journal. An unfortunate situation all around but honestly I love that this series just shows how coaches can be wrong too. They make mistakes like anyone else.

I feel like we way too hard on Furuya. Like hes going through a slump and he had a bad game. hes trying his best he cant just force himself to pitch better. Eijun went throiugh the same thing when he had the yips and were we mad at him about it? No. It was completely on Kataoka to take him out. Furuya is going through the exact same dilemma Mei went through thats why he's talking throughout this.
