Exactly, Eijun keeps on improving and playing good but he just can’t seem to catch up to Furuya so his frustration this game was really hitting hard. I agree keeping up with a monster like Furuya gotta be hard mentally so Eijun’s determination was really smth else. Cried buckets to that damn dirt on the bullpen 😭 Appreciate your thoughts and reactions as always brother

Anyway...I'm so glad you talked about that last scene because I don't see a lot of people talk about it. That scene was so powerful. Him getting some dirt from the bullpen and not anywhere else, also means that the next time they're back in Koshien, he def wouldn't be staying in the bullpen the whole game. A lot of tears were shed, too. hahaha
