TURN IT UPPPP YEAHH that cheetah run was one of my favorite plays bc its literally them working as a unit, also loved that mei IMMEDIATELY knew something was up abt miyuki, just proves that their relationship and rivalry goes way back edit: mochi calling haruichi by first name was defn a touching moment since to them calling someone by their first names is rare unless u formed a certain bond, i also like the fact that ‘mei’ and ‘kazuya’ are in first name basis 🥹

The fact that Mei knows him so well that within SECONDS of getting to the stadium, didn't even see his first at bat, he knows Miyuki is hurt lol that's some real friendship. Also, long shot since I know you already gave us your opinions on the OVAs and how they aren't on crunchyroll BUT since you're almost to the end of this season, OVAs 4 and 5 are placed directly after this season and they bridge between season 2 and act 2. They are both manga canon and it contains all information I think you would absolutely need to know. Obviously you can go from season 2 and not watch them but I really think you'd enjoy them a lot if you can stand watching from a different site.
