Aoi said that Togashi's strength resembled Kaneda's strength. I think this is the realm of editing. If you edit it well, it will look like Togashi, if you edit it badly, it will look like Kaneda. Just as Takeshima keeps remembering Togashi's words, Aoi also shows a directing that reminds him of Kaneda's words. In addition, Togashi also stopped at the same time while defending in a few matches and almost got a goal. He thinks that if it was the past Togashi, he would have just gone there even if he bumped into him. That's the scene in this episode. But the current Togashi did not do that. He said he came to learn from Fukuda, but in fact, he kept thinking about what Togashido Kuroda had said, and he tried to understand, and I think he came back because he grew up. It seems they just need time to understand each other. It's a really cool show.

What Kuroda was saying in regards to it's do or die is reality for players that are in a soccer youth academy. Easy way to think of it is you are playing for a pro team already. You are learning their playstyle and their culture. From a very young age ur life is completely soccer at that point because you are being molded for that club. Getting dropped from a prestige youth academy can very well be the end of the road right there. I think both sides need to hear each other. Togashi is 100% right that mentality wise there is a problem there, but that comes from them at 10-11 being in survival. Kuroda made the right decision passing it back as the goal keeper was coming in and he had less space for a non forced shot. The perspective wasn't the best i think a top down perspective woulda been better and shown the actual amount of space Kuroda had. However, this goes to show the same thing that happened between Kuroda and Aoi. He gave Aoi instructions and as soon as he fumbled he turned on him quick. They know there is a difference in skill. Togashi wasn't prepared for the pass and lack the ability make the quick decision to shoot. Kuroda has no patience. To me it's seems as if on first encounter he deems whether you can follow their type of play or if ur a liability to the system they play in. I think Takeshima display this well at the end. Despite acknowledging Togashi has a point with their mentalities he also made it clear he doesn't tolerate slander on the playstyle they've been taught. From what we've seen Takeshima still plays the same way he played as a kid because that's his role. I think Togashi is prepared to be part of the team because he knows that he'll be playing with them throughout his time there, but he just has a lot of pent up anger towards them which is understandable.
