Song for My Changing Suburb (Patreon)

I've been really inspired by 00s and early 10s bedroom type production. I grew up listening to a lot of indietronica and jrock and I've found myself getting back into that vibe over the last year thanks to artists like Sidney Gish, Car Seat Headrest and Ogre You Asshole.

Limiting myself to certain gear and focusing on recording as opposed to programming has allowed songs like this to have a very warm, human characteristic!

This song was created entirely with my Telecaster, MicroKORG and minimal sample usage of a CR78 and other percussion I created. My MicroKORG was really my first introduction into synthesis, nearly 7 years ago. There's something really romantic coming back to it again all these years later, making what I used to listen to all those years ago!
