This show fascinates me. A cultural juggernaut when it first aired over 10 years ago, the tepid upstairs/downstairs, English country manor of it all would captivate audiences as The Crawley family flopped around their giant house doing basically nothing. The storylines are somehow so wildly sensational whilst also essentially being as flat as 'I've lost a button m'lady' that it's another thing I'm going to have to dissect to figure out why it was so successful.

steller pod, my questions for both you and kat for episode 300 are: 1. Can you please tell us about how you guys met/what your first impressions of each other were? 2. Are there any hilarious moments from your friendship that you still bring up to this day? thanks lymp xx

Hi Lymp, great pod as always! You should look up the Red Nose Day parody of Downton Abbey which stars Joanna Lumley and Jennifer Saunders.
