i cried listening to this song. as someone from australia, to have an artist such as zaachariaha and a song that features lyrics in yankunytjatjara (an aboriginal australian language) represent australia at eurovision is very momentous and special. i hope this will play similarly to belgium last year as i see them as pride anthems that were initially counted out.

I think its also important off the back off the context that the referendum to give Aboriginal Australians a representative in parliament failed. Due to a racist "no" campaign. So while i understood that the message is somewhat trite and a bit cliche its really what the community needs in Australia to feel connected to the Country within their community after being rejected so harshly. So while i fully get the critiques i also understand the context others might not get, due to the fact that we feel something different on the ground in Australia. So i do agree its a bit sugary and cliche but i think its what Australians need as an entry since Indigenous Australians have been removed once again from the nations political conversation
