Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you are having a good holiday season, have something festive and wholesome!

The tigress was at home, preparing tea, cooking a small meal, and waiting for her boyfriend. She peeked out the window, looking at the rainy cloudy day outside. It sure wasn’t a nice time to be out in the cold. Especially since the sun was already setting even in the early afternoon. But at least she was already trying to make the best of it and prepare something for the stallion to look forward to when he came home.

Tashi looked around as he stood in the middle of the street. It was the day of Christmas eve, a day when things should be calm and relaxed, the festival of love, a somber celebration. Yet the stallion’s mind was anything but calm. He walked around his car and then towards the car that was parked on the side of the street. There was only a scratch on his car, but the cover of the turn signal of the other car was broken. It was just a minor accident, yet it was the last thing he needed.

He took his phone out and texted his girlfriend. “I’ll be a little late, I’m sorry. Stupid accident. I’m okay.” He wrote and sent a picture of the damage on the other car. Then he leaned against his own vehicle and sighed. His phone buzzed and he pulled it out of his pocket. “It’s okay, Tashi. Just come home safe.”

The stallion nodded to himself and replied. “I will. Love you. See you in a bit.” After putting the phone back into his pocket, he peeked into his empty car. There should have been a big, gift-wrapped package on the backseat, but instead there was just the empty faux leather surface, covered in a bit of dust. When he looked up again, he already saw the flashing lights of the police car coming closer. “Alright, let’s get this over with…” He mumbled to himself as he took his papers out of his pocket and approached the officers that came closer.

Alex eagerly ran into the hallway when she heard the card reader beep and their door unlock. Her boyfriend was standing there looking all gloomy and his clothes were damp from the rain outside. She looked at him and shook her head. Even though he always refused to put on a jacket, at least this time she had been able to convince him to wear a sweater.

She only stopped for a short moment, though, enough for a few drops of water to fall from the stallion’s mane. Then she jumped into his arms and he caught her and hugged her tightly. “I’m glad you’re home safe, my horsey.” She whispered into his ear. The stallion held her up and against his chest, but he snorted weakly. “This Christmas just sucks… So much to do… barely had time with you. Not even a Christmas tree. And now they didn’t even have your present ready. I’m sorry. I’m really looking forward to our vacation together.”

“Shh…” The tigress interrupted his tirade of apologies by putting a finger on his lips. “It’s all okay, come with me, Tashi.” She said and wiggled out of his arms until her paws were on the floor again. The stallion sighed and put his keys up on the rack next to their door. After wiping his hooves on their doormat, he followed the tigress along to their living room.

Alex turned off the lamps in the hallway and suddenly the stallion noticed that there was light coming from somewhere else. It was not bright enough to be coming from the big light bulbs on the ceiling. After he turned the corner and looked inside, he saw that the room was decorated with strings of light and a nice tall Christmas tree had been set up. His jaw dropped when he looked at all the pretty decorations and how cozy it all looked. “When did you do all this, Alex?” He asked her curiously.

He was so distracted he didn’t even see her taking her sweater off until she stood in front of him and reached for the hem of her boyfriend’s sweater. It was cold enough that even the bottomless cat was wearing some pants, and her bra cupped her breasts nicely. “Merry Christmas…” She whispered and jumped up to kiss his big nose. “Come and take this off…”

Tashi nodded and he slowly pulled his wet sweater off his body and threw it onto one of the nearby chairs to leave it to dry. “It’s so pretty…” He whispered. “But I don’t think I’m in the mood for…” His voice trembled and he looked to the side, his cheeks flushing. Alex chuckled and she leaned against him, her claws combing through his fur. “You are not in the mood to snuggle with me? But I have a gift for you!” She replied and playfully pouted.

“No… no. Yes! Of course, I would like to snuggle.” The stallion replied and looked at her with a puzzled expression on his face. “Good!” Alex said, turned around, and picked up an oversized Christmas sweater to throw it towards the stallion. He caught it and looked at it. “Wow… that might be too big even for me… but thank you!” He grabbed it by the sleeves and held it up in the air. “But those sleeves look tiny…” He said, raising an eyebrow.

“Just put it on and sit down, Tashi.” The tigress calmed him down, her tail slowly swaying in the air behind her. “Alrighty…” Her boyfriend nodded and put his new piece of clothing on, the whole thing hung off his body loosely and his arms were trapped underneath. “Did you make this yourself? I think… something went wrong… but I still love it.” He stuttered as he examined the sweater and then sat down on their sofa. His girlfriend didn’t seem to be bothered by how flawed he seemed to think her gift was. She didn’t even give an explanation.

Instead, she just dropped onto her knees in front of him, then stuck her head into the sweater and slipped upwards until her neck stuck out of it next to the stallion’s. Then she sat on his lap, grabbed his hands, and put his arms around her. Next, she slipped her arms through the sleeves and looked over her shoulder to give him a confident grin.

Tashi snorted softly and kissed her cheek. “I take it back. It’s perfect. You’re the one good thing in this crazy year.” He whispered. “Thank you so much, Alex.” His ears wiggled around nervously. Alex still didn’t say a word. She leaned forward, grabbed a big mug of hot Christmas chocolate, the smell of cinnamon became strong in the air. Marshmallows were floating on top and she took a big sip. After licking the chocolate off her lips, she lifted the cup up to her stallion’s lips to let him drink.

“No… now it’s perfect.” She replied and leaned back against him, safe and sound and warm underneath their shared sweater in their shared warmth. “Now let’s actually watch some Netflix together.” She whispered and grinned as she put the cup down and picked up the remote instead. “Yes, let’s do that.” The stallion replied and kissed her forehead.
