So the fossa are a common problem in Julien's kingdom, with regular attacks, and in All Hail King Julien, there happens to be a particularly smart and cunning fossa named Mary Ann. It's canon she has a thing for lemurs. What if Julien got captured by her? Maybe he wanted a fun adventure.
