Good afternoon!

The long, long road of getting Pathfinder WotR properly played through and made into a video is done, and while I thought that'd calm things down it's been a bit of a strange time on the backend. The Anonymous Agony video is currently down due to a copyright takedown (an exceptionally silly one, not even music) and is being properly disputed. The next step would be the legal arena, which I don't expect it'll come to with how the counterclaim has been filed, but I was willing to go through with it in this case. The channel currently has a strike on it which has all kinds of weird effects which I'm likely going to need to ride out until the reversal happening in the next 2-3 weeks if things go well.

As for videos, I had gotten a decent amount of Weird West recorded when a new version was announced as coming out tomorrow. From what I understand it's mainly aimed at being a next-gen version for consoles, though the PC version may also have some changes, so I'm at least waiting to see what the deal is with that before resuming recording properly. I had also played through Narcosis with the intent of possibly doing a shorter video on it, but besides being ambushed by crabs and massive cuttlefish and an admittedly cool story payoff that happens at the very end, I felt I didn't have a lot to say on it so shelved it for the time. It was intended as a VR game originally, so maybe that's how I need to properly need to play it one day.

Also, a Warhammer 40K retro FPS called Boltgun is coming out in a few weeks, and I have been offered a review copy of it. However the details on embargos/when I actually get it are still up in the air since I don't have all the information yet. So I've been spending the past few days catching up on emails and recording for Sins of a Solar Empire since that has to be sometime in the next while, as I was wanting to have that good to go last year. This year seems to have a game coming out roughly every 3 weeks I've actually been interested in playing, which feels like bizarro world.

So for the poll, the choices come down to this. I could focus on Weird West after I know what the deal is with that tomorrow and have that video come out sooner, or I could take a pause from it to get a video done on Boltgun for launch, and then have the Weird West video come out after that one with Boltgun being sometime later down the road. Again, no idea when I'll actually have access to it. It could end up being I just need to get the footage and video edited together for Weird West when I'm able to play Boltgun, or I might have my hands on it tomorrow and I can get started on that video instead immediately.

The choice is yours.

Thanks as always for your continued support!

Boltgun seems more like Brutal Doom WAD variant than anything actually retro, so Weird West gmhas my vote. It's at least someting unique to offer

Boltgun seems interesting, but I've been eyeing Weird West for a long while so I'm gonna vote that.

I'm playing boltgun no matter what, so I'd rather get your take on a game I may never play. Cheers!

Grimbeard's video about Narcosis was pretty good wouldn't mind you talking about it too, neat little indie game that deserves more attention

NEMESIS PRODUCTIONS

You're a far braver man than I, as cool as it looks I absolutely refuse to play Narcosis, especially in VR, triggers too many phobias. I will however watch your video if you end up making it!
