Afternoon everyone!

As some of you correctly guessed, the next video is going to be on Tyranny. All looks to be on schedule for it coming out next week, and once again no news is good news as things have been going smoothly on it. I'm trying not to have it be another 40 minute kind of deal, but there is a lot to talk about that's interesting about the game.

As for Advent Rising, the GOG update to integrate some nice new features is now officially live so I'm looking at that to be the video right after Tyranny. The next background video to be worked on is Pathfinder Kingmaker which is a much, much longer game than Tyranny as far as content goes so I'm still not sure when that'll end up coming. As for Frostpunk, that one is going to be delayed for the time being as a friend is now cooking up his own version and I feel confident he'll be doing it proper justice. There may be a poll here to decide how much to focus to put on getting something on Kingmaker out since the sequel is coming sometime in the next few months. Of course that one will be a longer time commitment so any videos in the meanwhile would need to be on shorter games, or nothing would be out for a bit in the same vein as the Warhammer 2 video. It would likely only be a month or so of silence, but I'd like to be farther on the progress bar on it to gauge stuff better. I'd like to do some mod videos this year and that could be a good schedule fit for that.

Pathfinder Kingmaker isn't the only project I have some background stuff going for, as I have some assets being cooked up for both the Homeworld series and System Shock 2. I'm still waiting to see what Nightdive is cooking up with the Enhanced Edition for System Shock 2 before going ahead on that, but as for Homeworld I'm waiting to buffer out a few videos before that point. I believe 1+2 would be in the same video since the Remaster includes both (but really does need a mod for 1) and while I'm familiar with that one I still never dug into the Deserts of Kharak game too far. Just a matter of time though.

A general YouTube poll gave me a lot of feedback that people do like the idea of a series month kind of deal, but that it should be spread out for the most part. I can definitely agree on that, as the idea was never to go doing series stuff back to back all the time. I'm just glad a lot of new people got to be introduced to the Thief Series!

That's all for now. Thank you as always for your continued support! Stay safe and healthy.

What a coincidence. I was just about to finally start playing Tyranny myself.

Oh wow nice! I picked up Pathfinder Kingmaker about a month ago and really enjoyed it. Played a helluva ton of Pathfinder 1st ed in highschool so was hit with a lot of nostalgia. I ended up putting it down though in the middle of the 3rd or 4th chapter, the many many bugs and crashes on the PS4 version really killed my momentum. Excited to hear your thoughts on it! Maybe it will get me to give it another go.

Any plans on covering Thief 4 at some point?

Tyranny was definitely the most interesting game that came out of the "CRPG Revival." Looking forward to Kingmaker review, because it was definitely my favorite with how accurate it was to tabletop.

Audibly sounded excitement in earshot of coworkers.

A thing about Tyranny that annoyed me was that i could not find the loading screen music in any of the soundtracks. Even now, only one guy have put it up on Youtube

The themes are nice, like warhammer Christmas and spooky hollween. But it is was like that all the time it would get boring. Having the random games is nice cause it is still good content, lets me build hype for the big events, makes them more special if they are rare.
