Update #69 - Things are Going Nice (Patreon)

Afternoon!

Everything is on schedule. I did a brief section about the Black Orc Big Boss in Total War Warhammer for another YouTuber you can view here (my part begins at 16:09) and while my contribution was done weeks ago it's nice for it to be up for everyone now.

The System Shock video ended up going through a weird issue on YouTube's end. Apparently some game music got remixed and about 10 seconds of audio at the very end of the video (the credit slide) got claimed and the entire video blocked in several countries, demonetized, etc. Demonetization isn't usually an issue worth complaining about when it happens, but country blocking is, so I just clicked a button to remove the audio there since it was just music and all the talking parts were deemed fine.

...so then stock music was added for several minutes at the end of the video. It's still being processed on YouTube's end at the time of typing this, but that'll hopefully be fixed soon.
I haven't seen anything like this happen before but YouTube is full of wonders.

As for Call of Cthulhu I'm partially through a second run and have already started some editing. Things aren't looking too much different on the second playthrough so I suspect I'll be fully just on the video soon. It's likely the video will be done this week, but if not it'd be early the next. I have no idea if this will be a shorter video yet since like Dark Corners of the Earth it has a lot of weird issues and confused direction, and I'm starting to think this is going to be a running theme for Lovecraft games forever. Maybe Sinking City will go better.
