Update #58 - Mechanicus and an Experiment (Patreon)

Afternoon!

Congratulations to  Clayton Knows Nothing Pajot , Samuel Albert Mell, and Joshua Morse for winning Blade Runner copies!

Discovered over the past week that the merch question was already answered by someone else. Apparently two years after the channel logo was commissioned someone traced it, modified it, and sells it as a piece of stock artwork. Nothing really worth pursuing since I actually find it pretty funny that the logo can be out and about in the world. Not sure how I'd respond to seeing it in real life myself since that'd be weird as hell.

The Mechanicus video is far along, but will be out later than anticipated. One of the collaborators has suffered a delay in their area due to the coronavirus causing some local chaos so the video will likely not be out until the 28th. In the meantime, I've decided to expand the beginning of it to talk about the Warhammer lore of the faction since I don't think I've really done that since the Fire Warrior video, albeit briefly back then. When that's done with, I'll continue getting things prepared for the big Total Warhammer video in the background. 

However, I'm also going to try something out this time since the video is on a longer timetable. One of my friends who makes videos will sometimes notify the developer of a release in the hopes they put it on sale so that more people can get the game, and this has worked remarkably successfully for games he recommends. Since the video is now roughly two weeks out from where I thought it would be, I'm going to try and organize the same thing to see how it goes. It's not always possible to do with most of the games I cover since some are either not sold or the developers are hard to contact, but we'll see how possible it is. It's absolutely a game I'd recommend to people, though it still has some issues that will be gone over. 

Regardless, I'll still be collecting credit questions in the next post so that when the time comes I'll just need to insert the things I'm waiting on and render it out immediately. Won't need to worry about any copyright dancing like the Blade Runner video had me worried about.
