The fields of Southern Arnor have been left relatively untouched by the Avix invaders. However, as soldiers are pulled away beastkin, ravenous animals, and opportunistic organizations have taken the chance to prey upon the helpless homesteaders and flourish! Will Hazel prosper too in this chaos or will she end up as someone's next meal?!


Hello again everyone. This is the first part of the Road to Regium update. The main focus here was creating an underlying system for "random" encounters that I can expand upon later as the world gets larger. I dunno if people will really be into it, so please give me your feedback!

Changelog:

+Hazel has gotten a slight sprite update. I'm still trying to figure out what's going on with her head when she moves but she wears clothes now!

+Made the shop in greenbrook "function" it's mainly a place for the player to sell the new "loot" items from random encounters and world space.

+Updated the map. I made it bigger so I can do more stuff!

+Added Eva, the vixen merchant. Eva has a lot to say about Hazel's weight and how to help her improve it!

+Added Random Events! Currently there are 8 varients of 5ish creatures for the "generic" red combat encounters. There are also 3 more unique instances noded by the purple question mark and orange question mark respectively.

+Added a camp in the southern Arnor area for Hazel to rest and digest!

+Added the first "camp follower", Mary! Camp followers are NPCs Hazel can aquire during her adventures that stick around camp and provide some useful little bonus or quality of life feature.

+Added Oldmoor and the Clasp.

+Multiple Pred, Prey, and other scenes. Of them I would say only three are... "Big" I decided to move one of the scenes that was in this part elsewhere in a future update. Sorry!

+Added "Simple" preds to the combat encounters. These are sprites and pictures that indicate vore but have no individual scenes based around them!


+Replaced Hazel's final stage images with new ones that I felt fit her style better. I'm lookin' at you next second to last...


I definitely feel like I'm missing some stuff but honestly this list is pretty much all the major things I did. The next poll will come out in a few days to give people a chance to play then I'm gonna ask for some specific feedback through the poll on what people wanna see me do!


If you find bugs or have questions, hop on over to the Discord and I'll do my best to answer and fix.
Note, due to requests from some folk I'm limiting bug fixes to once per day so I can catch as many as I can in a single version. Unless the bug is game breaking wherein I'll try and fix it asap. Though as always, saving is the best way to stay safe.

Hotfixes:

-Fixed issues with the unique random events, refugees, Barry, and bandits staying around when they shouldn't

-Fixed the tents and rose at camp

-Made it so player can't leave Oldmoor with full belly

-Nuked Barry for coming back

-Fixed issues with player teleporting to southern arnor via Eva after meeting harper. (hopefully)
