Plot Synopsis: Shortly after Goku's sacrifice to save the Earth from destruction, Cell returns stronger than ever and, as seen in the original manga's timeline, kills Future Trunks immediately. However, unlike in the original timeline, Vegeta doesn't get the chance to attack Cell in a rage, with Gohan jumping in to finish the fight once and for all.

Little does Gohan know, this split-second, battle defining decision, will go on to reshape his future and the future of the entire DBZ universe forever, as he barrels down the path as  the Earth's new protector...
