Mary Robinson-Duncan

Omg I love this show 4th time watching is with you guys!!

Mary Robinson-Duncan

Peaky for their peaked caps and Blinder as Birmingham slang for a striking gentleman

Linda wightman

I didn't know that I thought peaky for their peaked hats but blinder because of their misuse of razor blades🤣

Mario Zakall

Tommy is smoking Opium.

Mary Robinson-Duncan

In my thoughts it is too.. but I looked up the meaning from back in the 20s and that’s the definition they gave for back in the day.

Kate

You guys said that Billy Kimber’s accountant looked familiar - he played King Arthur in The Last Kingdom :)

Jude Ward

Love that you guys can appreciate the complexity of this show, love from London x

Robin Lee Melendez

Did you guys notice Billy Kimber's advisor is King Alfred from the Last Kingdom? Such a great actor

Maritza Navarro

I just noticed that the actor who played Kimber’s accountant was King Alfred in The Last Kingdom.

Battlebug

I forgot king alfred was in this episode

Ashley

Oh you had to see?! Nikki even said “awww”. “Already broken” — Grace opened Tommy’s heart singing. So it moved him to HELP Ada🤍🤍. Then Tommy was SMILING the next day drinking with the brothers😍 And they said does it have anything to do with that barmaid? . MY SOUL. The song scene is an Arrow every time I watch. It’s my favorite scene of the whole show🤍Grace opened something in him in that song. You can see in those blue eyes. He fell in love a little bit right there.

Ashley

Honestly they’re basically the same person😏 I was thinking about chibbs saying “the bastard thinks”

Kyle

Really enjoying watching this show with y’all!

I am so glad y'all are reacting to this series!!!!👍😁🕴️ I am sure by now that this has been mentioned already but, Cillian Murphy (aka. Thomas "Tommy" Shelby) also played J. Robert Oppenheimer in the "Oppenheimer" movie. He was also in "Dunkirk", "Inception", and "A Quiet Place Part II" just to name a few. "Peaky Blinders" is one of my favorites, right up there with "The Last Kingdom", "Vikings", "Reacher" and "The Terminal List"(an Amazon Prime Series🙏📺👏👍)!!!

Love your reaction to Peaky, its such a great show and yes Tommy;s (Cillian's) eyes are just mesmerising LOL,

Ashley

Yes! He asked Grace who she really was and he says let me guess… you got knocked up and had to go on the run by yourself. Which is why Ada would have to do. Grace plays it off and makes him smile. He just has a very serious soft spot for Grace. And then she sang to him and basically melted his soul and the next scene— Ada gets the message and says “I guess Tommy has a heart after all” — He decided to let them be together but they just can’t stay because he’s trying to save his sister’s life. Well that’s a good decision everybody Has to decide. Because she certainly safer if Freddy’s dead. His communist ish is a problem

Kwame James

Not sure if anyone mentioned it the peaky Blinders are based on a real gang also Tommy is smoking opium its same as heroin like a paste that is smoked

Michelle Wallace

I've been waiting for you to watch this show, so excited you like it. Btw, the razor blades in the peaks of their caps is how the real gang got their names. This is my 3rd favorite show overall after GOT and Breaking Bad. Not sure if anyone else had said that before.

The characters are fascinating but the score and the cinematography to me are what set this show apart. Its beautifully done
