The livestream for the series finale was so fun! You guys are the best and I'm so sad Sons is over!😭

Josip Buretic

It was beautiful to go through this journey with you guys!! We laughed and cried together

Every Tuesday and Thursday the past few months, I would get home from work, make a bomb ass dinner, and watch the latest video. It was like my treat for getting thru the day. It’s been an amazing experience reliving this banger of a show with y’all. Thank you for your consistency and quality content. Looking forward to 2024!

Blake

What a show. One thing that stood out to me is at the end when Jax is waiting on the courthouse steps to kill August, he looked like a reaper with the homeless lady’s blanket over him. Excellent imagery by Kurt

David Hoffman

I truly enjoyed watching this live with you last night. It was a perfect ending to a perfect show!!! Bring on Peaky Blinders!!!❤️❤️❤️

Teri

I can’t wait until I get off work to watch with you guys! I’m legit in tears right now because I’m going to miss watching one of my favorite shows with you two. Not many reactors can bring out all of the emotions like you, which is why you’re my fave. What a journey!! Thank you for everything you do.

Michelle Finerty

I absolutely enjoyed watching the live stream last night (I’m “michfin67” on YT). I’m going to miss watching your reactions to this great show but we can always rewatch your reactions on previous episodes, which I’ve already done on a few of them.☺️ Jax’s end was very poetic and sad, and went out like a G. Charlie Hunnam did amazing work on this show just like everyone else. I love that they used the cover of Elvis’ song “Can’t Help Falling in Love” in this episode which is the same song used at the end of the pilot episode. Also, the quote at the end before credits rolled, “doubt the stars are fire…” is from Hamlet and is a quote from a letter that Hamlet wrote to Ophelia (Jax=Hamlet, Tara=Ophelia). Kind of cool how much the show is loosely based on Hamlet. On a side note, I’m also a big Maggie Siff (Tara) fan and have followed her career since Mad Men. She herself just finished another long series run this year (7 seasons) on Showtime’s Billions and she was one of the main characters on that show. Perhaps one day you guys can react to that show. Anyway, awesome reactions as always and I cried with you, Nikki! I will join you guys for Peaky Blinders for sure!

jjayson

Sons before Uhtred and Last Kingdom? Ok. Not mad at that. Both shows were amazing. Whatever year you get around to the Shield will bring you back to the feeling of Sons. Everything you said about Sons is the same with The Shield.

Kris

Creator Kurt Sutter suggested that the homeless woman represents the magic of anarchy and both light and darkness, some theories say it's the Angel of death, the grim reaper, you can see her piece of bread at the last appearance being half, the other half was there when Jax crashed, symbolic and that's why this show is the best, also the conversation Gemma had with her, it's heavy stuff. The only thing that fans were upset about was that Jax going out the way he did created another victim being the truck driver, he now has to live with it and it's something many doesn't think about unless it's happened to you.

Wezza Rogers

Thank you guys it's been a blast watching this with you I'm gonna leave now but I'll be back if The Shield ever comes up hope you had a great Christmas and a even better New Year 😊

DevilJynx

Marks and Barosky got what they deserved. Jax tiddyed up the messes as best he could before going out. At the very least Abel and Thomas will be free of the violence and can live a healthier life. Such a fantastic series. Glad you both enjoyed it!

C. J. Ramirez

Loved your stream last night. Watching it for a second maybe a third time today🤣

Peaches

This was a heartbreaking finale. Really and truly however I couldn’t think of a better ending, it just couldn’t have ended any other way, ending was only fitting. I’ve never met a character that I actually struggle to let go…jax death felt like a lost a family member 😭…it’s so rare to fall in love with a character like jax, a man who did horrible things but you knew deep down was a good person who fell into a cycle of violence and death. I think the best way to accept jax death is that you saw how jax was finally and fully at piece with himself and knew it was time to go. He finish what his father wasn’t able to do and made sure his boy never see this cycle of violence. Someone once said opies death broke him, Tara death destroyed and Gemma death killed him and I 100% agree!!!! This show was incredible from start to finish and rarely do you find shows this good, definitely a GOATED one and Charlie just extraordinary!!! It’s been a pleasure going on this journey with the both of you. Watching y’all react weekly was awesome and the love you grew for the show. I hope to find my way back to your patreon for a show I love one day. Happy new year I’m advance and continue your great work Nikki and Steven. 💕🫶🏽 Hope you guys check out Triple frontier, great movie with Charlie In it. His other work is great!

RaeRae

The only time I’ve seen this level of emotion, and the faces of Nikki and Stephen was Ragnar, and Lagertha died, and when Jon Snow’s was killed

scorpius drall

the scene whit the boots was put in there to poke fun at some fans becouse they kept complaining about the white sneakers they said bikers weare boots not sneakers but Jax was based on a real Hells Angel named Chill Will that became a friend of Charlie he had the same outfit he died when the show started filming so the sneakers were a tribute . and i noticed the bread that the crows are eating in the end the same bread the homeless lady was eating never saw that before

RaeRae

The homeless lady, I believe was the ghost of the mother that was killed because of JT’s accident. The girl that smashed Jack’s his bike, the bread and wine she was eating and drinking at the end leads me to believe she was somewhat divine. IMO

Jermaine loggins

It took me 5 yr to start watching sons again after it ended 2014 i was crushed this is my top 3 shows the wire sons and snowfall

Squeak418

I wish I could tell you how the killing of a President happened in my family but this is too public. This was a perfect ending for me even though I didn't want to see Jax die but he did it his way. Thanks for reacting to this show. This has let me relive this epic show once again.

Chris Rascon

We made it everyone! Lol.. but this has been such a treat to relive this series with you two. I'm jealous of people that get to experience a movie or show I cherish for the first time. This show is my personal favorite I've ever watched. There's been a few shows that I think about almost every day because the story always stuck with me and this is definitely one. There's a show Animal Kingdom that satisfied my Sons fix when I needed it. Another show with a dysfunctional family and a obsessive mother. I don't know if you've seen it but if not, a good candidate for a watch along. Hope you gets get around to Mayans MC one day. Not as good as Sons but it does compliment the universe Sutter created. Can't wait to see Peaky Blinders with y'all!

Teeelur24

Soa is a masterpiece, the way the story was told was perfection

Dracorex

It's okay to cry Steven 😭

Ashley

Totally messed up. Had day wrong. Will watch the replay now! Nervous. Never rewatched. Devastating but perfect. Glad Nik got my shirt I sent, hadnt seen!

K R

Nope. She was the angel of death. That’s what Kurt sutter said

JarHead0351

I am with you on some of your top show - Games of Thrones - Last Kingom - Sons of Anarchy - Black Sails - Vikings ( In No Particular Order) - graet reaction to a great show. great shows shows you that no one is safe, not even great characters like Oppie, Ned Stark, Ragnar Lothbrok

Ashley

Finished. Wept. My stomach hurts. Feel sick. So happy Steven sees the flawless narrative storytelling, planned from the beginning. He was inspired by Shakespeare’s Hamlet. He Imbedded with biker club to write this show. Commitment to this arc of Jax’s tragic story of Hamlet figure. I’ve never seen a writer do what Sutter did. Has to be commended that whenever a writers room faces challenges, normally maybe an actor that wants to get out of the contract or an unforeseen situation, how does a writer handle the unforeseeable? And Kurt Sutter is literally the only showrunner I’ve ever seen be able to roll with that and continue on the path of his story and not allow those situations to hurt the story. Most of the time you wouldn’t know unless you were told but time and time again with other stories it’s a constant red glare that an actor left and story went flat or a writers room change = the characters became out of character. I can’t say enough about these actors and their performances and how they were able to bring this World to life in a way that I can’t even see a GIF of SONS without getting emotional. Due to the movie of the last kingdom not living up to where it could have for me, and that’s just I believe Netflix is fault, it didn’t surpass SONS. Almost! But they couldn’t stick the landing in a way that 7 seasons Kurt did. I really truly hope you watch the Opie video now because it’s incredible and a perfect send off. Anytime you hear them talk as actors about their experience all those guys became brothers and they all rode bikes together in the Tacoma Harleys and I saw Charlie Hunnam talking this week in the rebel moon release interviews about how much he loved jacks and how proud of it he is still he still has all his memorabilia , like cut, bike, etc., that he took home — it’s just such a special series and I’m very glad that you guys took the time to do it!

Ashley

Ps. The homeless lady Kurt had stated is like faith, meaning whatever faith is for you. But she was somebody who died 20 years prior basically, and was in some ways guardian angel. Whether she was telling Gemma that Abel was going to live in ep 4ish of s1, or giving Jax a blanket when he fell asleep at Donna’s gravesite in s1. Every little moment she’s around she’s just sort of the spiritual guide. —- That’s what made that storyline so special is that it was metaphorical and was not a real person alive today. She exists between life and death. Jim’s in this rewatch I noticed antic how he how they both their eyes freak out right when Jack says I got this. I didn’t remember that at all. And it almost made me wonder if they even knew what he was going to do. I just think that him choosing Opie’s words really struck them because they were there when Opie also laid down his life for his brothers. Symbolized in the blood that ran like wine …. And the bread that broke like Christ out on that gravel road. Beautiful story

Arekasune

Hmmm... I never thought of it before, however, I can think of one possible reason for including that focused shot on Jax's leg when he hurt it. That is, it's the same leg that got splattered with Gemma's blood when he shot her. So perhaps that was just a subtle little... nod? Or something? That's the best I got haha. What a ride it's been, you two are easily my favorite reactors and it's been a great time seeing this series again with ya.

Annika

This was an extremely hard episode to watch.when I watched it the first time it was a slow day at work, didn't realize I would sit at my desk crying 😭 😭

Kat Fleur

Aww The Final Ride! This show was amazing; kept me on the edge of my seat throughout its duration. It’s been fun watching y’all react to it & interacting with a few of your viewers. Happy holidays & happy new year y’all.

Ben Mogz

My Tuesday and Thursday will never be the same 😦 I subscribed to Patreon because of SOA. I don’t plan to unsubscribe for now , i'm not really hyped for Peaky Blinders ,i never saw it but i will watch with you guys anyways ♥️

Clément Grellier

Tribute to the show ❤️ : https://youtu.be/217K3xuo_TU?si=VvRDUCWJBITbdqD_

Paul T Hewes

i am glad you guys enjoyed it, but to me it got more and more contrived every season. There were so many chances for the MC to move to more legitimate business ventures, but for the series to go on, a wrench had to be thrown in each of them. There were so many times that Jax could have gone a way for peace, but instead chose more bloodshed. Too much for my tastes. Especially after they did Tara wrong.

Monica W

I 100% agree with your ranking Steven, Better call Saul is one of the best TV series of all time. It's so rare that a sequel\prequel can surpass the original show. And yes, Sons of Anarchy should be included in everyone's top 5 greatest TV series of all time. It's a 10 out of 10 for me. The writing, acting, and directing are all top tier in my opinion.

Annika

And that song in the end, so so fitting and good, but so haunting

Josip Buretic

I hope I will feel the same, I also came for SOA. I will give a try with Peaky Blinders

Ash D

Love this reaction!! Also if you go back to your first video it was either on here or YouTube I commented about you having to change up your top 5!! Haha love you guys it was such a fun RIDE pun intended! 🤣🥰

Kwame James

Not sure if anyone mentioned when they went to Arizona in season 4 the guy that killed a member with the drug vote Mr Mayhem is them drugging them behind their bikes but I believe he just have to be killed

Kwame James

Ratboy is crushed because Jack was his sponsor which means he let him in the club

Annika

Peaky Blinders is really good but has nothing on SoA

Annika

I am watching The Wire right now, its good but think The Shield is better

Kate

Hey, now N&S have finished SoA, does anyone know of any other people who’ve reacted to SoA that they’ve enjoyed watching?

Lailana

im glad the ending still held surprises for them.

Peaches

Yes I do…they are still reacting to it, only on s1. Their patreon is marriedtofilm

Kate

Hi Nikki and Steven! Now that you’ve finished SoA (😭) please would you consider doing a little video reacting to the bloopers from the show, a nice bit of lightheartedness after some heavy seasons! I’ve listed the videos below for ease (they’re all very short, there isn’t a video for Season 1 and Season 7 is not bloopers but is a skit they did for Comic Con) Thank you so much! Season 2 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AMK-Rdf8GX0 Season 3 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=17QNbrSi6Uo Season 4 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ym5Sr76Xkjg Season 5 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XfAIEGBHRy4 Season 6 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ok0ACHv9-6c Season 7 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vXJO9PKx0-U

NZ Hayley

Finally at the end 💔 I remember hating the ending so much the first time I watched it, I thought it was really dumb, but every time I’ve rewatched I’ve felt better about it and I think I was just mad because I didn’t want it to end that way, didn’t want Jax to die even though it had to happen. I’ve been told that Yellowstone is like a cowboy version of SoA so I might give that a try 😆

Alex

Very underrated ending to a very underrated show that managed to stay consistent all 7 seasons. That is rare. This show should really be in the same conversation as shows like Breaking Bad, Sopranos, The Wire.

A'rora Nightfall

This was a top 10 show of mine (of all time) I can't put it in my top 5 because there were so many instances where you LITERALLY had to suspend any kind of disbelief as they got away with stuff in broad daylight that you could never get away with...before smartphones and cameras or not. That being said, I did like the writing and the casting and the acting. Great show. One of the 10 or so best I have seen.

Midwestern72

very few shows have had such an emotional impact on me every time i watch it

Midwestern72

Jax's vision began with his desire to change his club and ended with him wanted survival for his club and salvation for his children

Midwestern72

You guys really would love The Shield

Sean O'Neill

The homeless women is essentially Jesus Christ. That’s why she shows up in all these places and if you notice, after she gave him the blanket, the camera focused on Wine and Bread…the items used as stand ins for the holy sacraments.

Sean O'Neill

Also, I still cry at this ending. Even though I’ve watched the series countless times, even though I know what’s coming, I still lose it when he kills Gemma and when he dies. BTW the entire story is essentially Hamlet. This is a straight up reimagining of the play for modern times. The story and the characters in Hamlet line up very well with the characters and most of their traits in Sons of Anarchy, with Jax obviously being Hamlet himself.

Sean O'Neill

It’s definitely because you didn’t want it to end and because you wanted Jax to live. I felt the same exact way at first until I really analyzed why I felt that way. Even though we root for Jax through the entire show, he is not a good person. He’s not even an antihero, he’s just a flat out murderous criminal. However, Charlie’s charisma and the writing are just so good that we can completely disregard all the horrible shit he and the club does and still be on their side. Much like Vic from The Shield and Tony from The Sopranos.

804Marty

You must now watch MAYANS! To be continued... (I hope).

Big Gee

Enjoyed watching your journey watching my all time favorite show. Please continue and watch the Mayans M.C. It’s a good show and its own perspective from a different club and culture. And some cool cameos and surprises too.

Big Gee

Also did y’all ever react to the BTS of the boys helping Ryan Hurst say good bye to his character Opie? A really emotional goodbye.
