One of the best movies ever made.

I think the best review I can gives this film is, it made me buy a drum set

Grand Moff Slackin'

I’ve heard a theory that Neiman purposefully hid the music folder to screw over Tanner and give Fletcher a reason to give Neiman a shot at the drums in competition.

To answer some of your questions: Miles Teller has been playing drums since he was 15, he did have to learn how to drum in jazz style. All the drumming you hear is him with an occasional body double, the director would delay calling cut during the solo practices to really show the strain and exhaustion that Miles was experiencing. As for the scars on Miles Teller he had been in a near fatal car accident when he was 20. His friend lost control of the car at 80 mph and it flipped 8 times throwing Miles through the window.

I've never seen this movie before, and I loved it! It took me to such unexpected places. Fletcher's talent, as messed up as his couching seemed, is finding the drive in Neiman. Great producers looking for actors, have such talents. Recruiters for athletes, as well. Fantastic movie. Thanks, Discord, for recommending it. I wasn't able to watch live with you guys, but I wish I did.

That theory doesn't make sense, though. We followed Andrew after he put the folder down, doesn't really make sense then to have him be the one. I just don't see how it fits. Seems way more likely that it was Fletcher since he already had warned about it and maybe wanted to see Andrew play under pressure with only memory.

What a Great Movie. Wow. And Steven is absolutely right. Going into this film completely ignorant, I've never seen it before, not even a trailer... and then you see this intense film makes it so, so good. I share Steven's feelings, it's just incredible.
