The dialogue between Uhtred and Alfred in this episode is so well done and so emotional at the same time. It reminds me of the dialogue between Ragnar and Ecbert in Vikings, another phenomenal one.

This is one of my favorite episodes of the show, Alfred and Uhtred's conversation always hit me in the feels, no matter how many times I've watched it. Can't wait for the reaction to season 3 finale. #DestinyIsAll

Does Æthelhelm (Edward’s father-in-law) remind you yet of another heartless asshole pulling strings and manipulating people? He’s The Last Kingdom’s version of Otto Hightower. Just like Otto, I disliked and mistrusted him on sight.

The final convo between Uhtred & Alfred is one of my all time fave scenes in the show, incredible dialogue & acting. Big props to David Dawson who delivered an amazing Alfred the Great. Shout out to Eliza Butterworth as Aelswith too, OMG I love to hate her. Such a great performance. Perfect example of just how consumed Aelswith is by her baseless hatred of Uhtred; instead of spending Alfred's precious last few moments with him, she's complaining. Season 3 is so freakin' good, IMHO TLK just gets better and better. On to the finale! DESTINY IS ALL

The conversation between Alfred and Uhtred is one of my favorites in this series like others have said. One of the things I really like is how deep the relationships are between Utred and other characters are. With Brida, Alfred, Beoca, Ragnar, Finin, Hild Ect. I love the conversation Utred had with Brida in episode 6. It’s easy to forget how deep their relationship actually is. He will always love Brida no matter what. Not in a romantic way as he said but their love is immortal it goes on. He was bonded with Alfred as well I loved their love/hate relationship. I look forward to your reactions to this show. You will love the next episode.

The dialogue between Alfred and Uhtred, always gets me. As a scene this one is amongst my all time favorites. Right up there along with Captain Flint's monologue in the last episode of Black Sails.
