In your intro you mention a picture with Lalo having a cool belt buckle. No! Esa Salamanca foto es de Hector, Leonel, Marco y Tuco, no Lalo. Why is Lalo not in that shot? We'll never know for sure but... That picture is originally from Breaking Bad and in BrBa, Lalo is just a name Saul throws out in his premiere episode. "Lalo" wasn't necessarily a Salamanca yet. The brilliance of the writing in these shows made Lalo and Nacho into prominent characters in BCS from two throw-away names from BrBa

The time jump ties into Jimmy quoting Mike at the beginning about waking up one day in the future and not thinking about what happened to them. We now see Jimmy at the point where he's free (at least consciously) of the trauma and guilt of all of that. I seriously doubt this is the last of Kim on the show but that final scene before the time jump is the perfect ending for prequel portion of the show. Also, maybe you guys caught it while editing the episode, but the wine scene was confirmation that Gus is either gay or bi. He very clearly has a crush on the waiter and is lighting up at every word that comes from his mouth, and even bought the expensive bottle of wine that the waiter talked about for a special occasion which is asking him out. But while the waiter is gone Gus comes to the conclusion that this is just a fantasy, his life is dedicated to his revenge and it's too late for him to pursue anything else (this thought is also probably triggered by the waiter bringing up the taste of blood in the wine that Gus is drinking).

Well said. That Gus scene was so good. It was probably one of the most revealing scenes of him in the entire BB/BCS universe

😆 Easy gotti. There's still 4 episodes left. Jimmy does not deserve a happy ending. Whoever said that's why the fly was in the lab because it smells the bodies??? Slow down fly whisperer. Like a fly can sense two corpses buried six feet or more under large dirt and concrete🙄 Walter or whomever may have opened the washer entrance and a fly happens to buzz in 😆. When Gus stepped to the edge of the pool, I think it reminded him and it reminded me of when they shot his partner and made him watch the blood spill into the pool. Poetic justice for Gus. Gus leaving that restaurant or wherever he was, he probably was thinking he can't have this kind of different life. He's on a revenge mission. Mike knows what it's like to lose a son. I gotta get me a Nacho shirt. When they filmed the episode of Nacho's death, the crew were wearing a shirt of Nacho's face on it. 🏊‍♂️ 🍷🧳

I'm not gonna judge the timejump yet, I think we'll see Kim again. I think Jimmy/Saul was telling the truth, Because he truly wanted Chucks respect for a long time atleast, so yes I think he could've very jealous. Iirc, in the episode where we had the flashback to where Jimmy got the letter of passing the bar exam. He showed it to Chuck & his reaction was honestly heartbreaking as Jimmy was so proud and only wanted to get his brothers respect. I think Steven had the reaction it was a little weird that Jimmy asked 'Are you proud of me Chuck?' Which is understandable of course, But i believe that could be a reason to Jimmy actually was telling the truth about jealousy. This is nothing more than me thinking stuff through & could be completely wrong of course.

We will see Kim again 100%. I think the time jump was executed to perfection. Kim leaving was the final hat to drop. It’s all that was needed for Jimmy to complete his transformation into Saul full-time. The abruptness of the jump was intentional. Think of it like a gunshot killing the character of Jimmy McGill. Comes out of nowhere and in an instant. So good.

Judging by the sticker on Saul's license plate, this is probably a one year jump forward. I think all was said that needed to be said from Kim in that last moment. I was shocked but felt the impact of that jump, from the long shot of the back of Jimmy's head to the new shot of the back of Saul's head in his mansion bedroom. Saul is all that's left now, Kim metaphorically murdered Jimmy and it seems he went all out with the Sandpiper money. I feel like we're gonna see Kim again, maybe one more time in the BB timeline and/or in the Gene timeline.

very well said... it was far more clear seeing it the second time. at first, it felt like he was comfortable and free again to live. and when he realized he can't have his guard down, he bounced.

The fact that they used Patrick Fabian’s real life Instagram photos for Howard’s memorial was hilarious given the dark tone in this entire episode. Much needed comic relief😂

We are right there. Almost at the intersection with Breaking Bad. At the end of this episode, Saul is talking on the phone regarding a new client he mistakes for another "public masturbation" case. Then he is corrected and says "Oh, a new one?" Now, in the Better Call Saul episode of Breaking Bad, where we see Saul for the first time, he is Badger's lawyer and mistakes him for a public masturbator. Badger corrects him and says "Naw, I got busted for selling meth.... allegedly." So, that could have been the case Saul was discussing on the phone near the end of this episode. Walt and Jesse are next. Next episode or two.

Rewatched this with you guys today and it really is hitting me hard as one of the most devastating hours of dramatic television I've seen. So many quietly tragic moments unfolding, and like the run of devastating episodes that closed out Breaking Bad, every single one of those moments makes sense. These writers are just incredible.
