thank you!! My internet kept freezing during the stream. But did end up having tonwatch THREE eternals info breakdowns to understand what I watched 😜😩

I've had to work these past few Sundays really early, so I've been missing the streams on Saturday nights. They're always so much fun, and I look forward to when I can join in live again! Thanks for the upload, guys. 😇💙

Came back on for Ozark reactions but glad you guys are doing marvel! A couple of things I’m not sure if mentioned or you didn’t catch. Gilgamesh did mention fighting in a war with Odin so they have come across certain people in marvel already. Yes Thanos in comics is an eternal that carries the deviant gene. They left Zuras out the movie but he’s the head of the eternals and Thanos and starfox uncle. That was blade at the end of the movie talking to Jon snow lol. I personally enjoyed the movie a lot just thought it was weird making Ikaris a villain and taking away a few of their powers.

Sorry to see you disappointed that Ikaris won't be in the Avengers. But Sersi joins the Avengers at one point. And Kit Harrington's character Dane Whitman (The Black Knight) was also in the Avengers. That was in the comics. I wonder if they will make it happen in the MCU as well.

The problem for me is that Thanos is a Deviant, albeit an Eternal. So that makes no sense.

LookNoHands

In the comics, Thanos isn't actually a Deviant. People just say that as shorthand. In actuality, Thanos is an Eternal who was born with a genetic condition known as "Deviant Syndrome", so named that by the Eternals of Titan because it causes bodily malformations that are reminiscent of the physical appearance of Deviants.

Thanks for the reaction you two! Really enjoyed watching it with you guys! Honestly, casting Harry Styles as Eros, the Eternal that is the god of Love was hilariously, wonderfully fitting. Also, the voice speaking to Dane at the end while he is reaching for The Ebony Blade has been officially confirmed to be that of Mahershala Ali who was cast as the MCU's version of Eric Brooks, AKA Blade, who's movie has already been announced for late 2023/early 2024, though we may see either him and/or Dane show up in Moon Knight first which starts this month, March 30th. While Dane AKA The Black Knight (as in King Arthur's Black Knight who was Dane's ancestor) is part of the Avengers in the comics, Kevin Feige has officially gone on record since this movie came out to say that, at least for the foreseeable future, the Avengers are permanently done. However, Dane showing up here is likely the beginning of the Midnight Suns (sometimes spelled as "Midnight Sons"), an Avengers like team up from the comics that he's a part of (often including folks like Doctor Strange, Blade, Elsa Bloodstone, Helstrom, Werewolf By Night, Moon Knight, Ghost Rider, and the Punisher as well as more recent additions and allies like Iron Fist, Cloak, Wolverine, Nico Minoru, Scarlet Witch, Spider-Man, Shang-Chi, Magik, Loki, Caretaker, Daredevil, Captain Marvel, Nightcrawler, Venom, Morbius, Wong, etc...) that typically deals with darker mystical, cosmic, and multiversal threats. They've even allied with the likes of Doom and Agatha Harkness at times. Since the Avengers are no more, it is widely believed that the Midnight Suns are the new team that will take their place in the MCU going forward.
