I was browsing yalls older reactions and I'm so glad I found the hunger games ones. I haven't seen the series in like 8 years. I forgot how good it is. Or maybe its better now that I'm older and have more understanding about the world. IDK. Every movie in the series made me cry. Dystopian is such a great genre. And this series is so well done. I remember reading the books when I was younger and they had a major impact on me then. A lot of YA book adaptations were cash grabs after twilight but Hunger Games was never that, it was an amazing story with really important messages about power violence and oppression. Loved yalls reactions!

Became a patron for the THG reaction content, but went back for your full reactions for Haunting of Hill House and Midnight Mass, since they attracted me to your channel in the first place. You guys never disappoint. Nikki is my spirit animal; except when she wished ill teeth will against my boy Finnick 😉. Currently watching Cobra Kai and for the first time as of yesterday and I’m looking forward to seeing you guys react after I finish watching! Rewatching THG series made me remember how great Jennifer Lawrence really is, since she hasn’t shown her real acting chops since; at least not in her mainstream films. (Also lawrd, I know it’s probably been recommended to you exactly 3839839 times but Attack on Titan is a whole ass rabbit hole in the same vein as TWD, GOT, and THG. The twists are plentiful; Steven would have a field day.) ✌️ you guys are great!

Gale is still full of fire and vengeance and I don’t think that’s wrong necessarily. He is the kind of person needed to bring about a new world order. But Katniss has that in her already, she needs Peeta who is the mirror opposite of that. He helps her move past her hurts & to look forward to a new life with good things instead of dwelling on the rage and hurt they all have. Gale was right when he said “she’ll choose the one she can’t live without.”

I’ve never seen a series made as well as this series. They kept so true to the books. So much of the dialogue was taken straight from the books! It’s an incredible story and I’m glad you guys gave it a shot! So many people write it off as a silly young adult series, but it is so poignant and so much of it is relevant to real life and real government. I remember being unbelievably bamboozled when I first read this last book. Her killing Prim SHOCKED me. Like…this whole thing started because Katniss was trying to save Prim and then even after all that, she lost her anyways. I was heartbroken.
