Yes my initial Takeaway was that was unbelievably rushed. I watched season 4 recently, and this reveal would’ve taken a whole season; been sprinkled in and built up to. It never would’ve been convenient. I love the feel and moderninity of the season a whole lot… but for me, just like the first episode when he lost his 10 year chip, over some thing a bit hallow…just so that tbey could get a kill in the first episode, was WAY too fast. It’s bummer too because I feel like this would be an amazing two seasons of content.

ps the ice in the Dexter logo keeps getting more red every episode— maybe once it’s completely red, that means Dexter dies. All the rage they are building up in Harrison and talking about him seeing red )that’s how the behavior feels…)… If he finds out his dad’s serial killing got his mom killed… I wonder if Harrison is the one that kills Dexter
