Another recommendation, althought slightly different. A classic film, a courtroom drama dealing with the post-war trials of Nazi criminals. "Judgement at Nurumburg"

I’ll just write a personal commEnt. My father was the son of an Army colonel and spent part of his youth living in Germany and France. My father was determined that I would have knowledge of the European front early on and so I was 8 when first I went. I’ve been to numerous concentration camps and they are all brutal. I studied languages and economics at a university in Texas and at 20 went to Salzburg to finish my degree and further my studies. I liked going on adventures from Salzburg so I saw the beautiful mountains and lakes they show you here. I also went to Berchtesgaden (though I’d been there before). Here’s where I have a different interpretation of the line about being a Nazi in Germany…while traveling I went to a hotel for two nights. Literally by chance I met the chef and owner of the hotel who has become like my grandfather. He’s 81 now. His father was forced from running his hotel and Hitler sent nearly all men to the brutal eastern front in the Soviet Union. He was captured by the Soviets and put into a prisoner labor camp in Siberia. He returned when Peter was 5. Prior to that he had never met his father. Peter is still with us and my entire family will be painting Berchtesgaden and parts of the Salzburg area red width celebrations at Christmas. Even now when visiting Germany, Austria or Switzerland people think I’m Austrian because of my accent (though I live in Texas).
