Awesome! Yes season 6 has been announced and it is the final season for the tv series. There is a huge reason why this particular part of the story ends. It's actually a good place to end this part of The Expanse! Y'all know I love this show. I never want it to end. But I understand. I could say but not without your permission.

Thanks guys. I hoped this would get you hyped. The season 5 trailer is quite spoilery, so I'm glad you aren't watching it. Having read the books makes it easier to recognize certain plot points, and I can definitely say I'm hyped for what's to come. I'm still not sure how they'll be able to wrap things up in season 6, but it really depends how much of book 6 makes it into this season. I could see them potentially getting the final 3 books into a single season if certain plot lines are eliminated, but I worry it may be a little too much all at once. They did a really good job of structuring the seasons so far though, so hopefully they'll make it work. One last question. Will you guys be watching one per week, or will you watch the first 3 when they drop? I'm mainly wondering whether you'll be watching/posting them as they're released or if you'll just stick to one a week and be a couple weeks behind?

Their work adapting the books so far have been stellar and their expansions upon them also (to give one example, Donkey Balls was not in the books). The book authors have previously pointed out that while they don't want to write book spinoffs, Alcon is free to do that with the show. Rumor is that the numbers are good, so here's me holding out for something 🤞
