This is why I consider Ozark to be the natural successor of Breaking Bad, even though they’re so different. Ozark is the only other show to give me the INSANE levels of anxiety that BB did. Both shows have such tight writing & pacing. And excellent actors at the top of their games.

The preacher........ unreal. This guy's actions play right into the stereotype that many people associate them with, and that is that they put God above everything else and, at times, live an unrealistic life because of that fact, even at the expense of the safety of a family. This cat's wife was PLEADING with him to do what he needed to do for their safety and for the safety of their unborn child and what does he do? Confronts Snell. I can't tell how fucking arrogant and irresponsible that is. For the wife to tell him the realistic truth, and that was that the kid had shitty aim, and that he wasn't being "protected by God", was the straight truth and he dismissed it with such venom and anger by going to the Snells, I now fear for that entire family because he just couldn't see his way clear to swallow a bit of pride and do what was required in a dire situation. What a tool and a fucking wind bag..... jerk.

Glad to hear eventually yall are going to up it to 2 a week! Man rewatching thise show kind of made me realize as amazing it is, it's kind of hard to binge watch cause it's so anxiety inducing and tense the whole way through. There's never really a break esp. in episodes like this! Loving the discussions too
