My god, I think it is good that there are only 8 episodes in this first season. Since it gets crazier each episode and more violent and carried away I cannot picture what episode 8 will be like. Nikki and Steven, there were some conversations going on where you two were totally mesmerized, so was I. I am so glad you are doing this show. Not because I thought you would enjoy it, I have never seen it, but the enjoyment you are getting from it, I am enjoying right along with you. Wonderful episode, wonderful reactions. I'm looking forward to episode 6.

"We haven't heard anything about [Black Noir] so far." - I think this is rather played for laughs intentionally, like they were in the meeting in an earlier ep and Homelander asks him who he saved this week and someone else interrupted after an awkward pause, or when Starlight met him in the corridor and said 'Really excited to work with you!" etc and got nothing back. The joke is he gets little mention or attention, never speaks and is a complete enigma who's just hanging around in scenes.

I never understood how Starlight mother could argue to her daughter that "Do this for me because 'I kept your secret.' " Like what? So you wouldn't have if you knew she wasn't going to give this speech. Why? She's your daughter. It should be a given that you wouldn't reveal her secret identity.

Black Noir was created as a fail safe in case Voight lost control of Homelander. Mother's Milk has a complicated family history with Voight International. Its the reason he's a part of the Boys.
