Been waiting 12 hours for this. Nothing like sheltering in place with a fine beverage and watching y'all react to one of the best episodes of TV since Walter White prowled the airwaves.

Waleed

the actor for nacho IS in a video game! hes in Far Cry 3. hes in a ton of trailers and even was in some live action bits promoting the game

The bullet though the cup that Kim gave Jimmy seemed like a prelude to "She's in the game now". Feels like very dark foreshadowing. But every time you see a zig in the BB universe, the shows zag in completely unexpected directions. It is indeed like trying to predict chaos. But rather than climbing a ladder, it appears this chaos ladder will be descending to a very dark place.

🧳🌵😟🍋 I am very worried that Kim might die, but I also don't think that Kim's death would make Jimmy the Saul we see in BB. That would be too traumatic for him to deal. Calling the vacuum guy though seems like a plausible end for her. Makes me wonder if Gene and Kim (whatever her new name would be, maybe Giselle?) will hook up again in Omaha.

👜🌵😱🍋☀️ Couldn't find a license so I added a sun. I've always been worried about Kim's fate, but when Lalo walked into that room, my heart sank. I don't see how she survives this. I only take heart thinking it will be Mike who takes him out!

There's no way Kim gets killed by Lalo and Saul sticks around Albuquerque to work as a lawyer for as long as he did. The way I see it, Lalo now has leverage over Saul, so given that Nacho has been betraying him, and Mike and Gus need Lalo to go, somehow Lalo finds out about Nacho's betrayal and he probably also gets mad at Saul and Saul has to make Kim disappear to keep her safe. Saul does not know about the disappearer yet, but maybe Mike helps both Nacho (to save his father) and Saul (to save his wife Kim) at the same time. In Breaking Bad, Saul is afraid of Lalo. "It wasn't me! It was Ignacio (aka Nacho)! He's the one!" he yells out as Walt and Jesse put him on his knees in the middle of the desert in season 2 (S02E08 "Better Call Saul"). So, from Saul's perspective (in BB), Lalo is still out there and is a threat to Saul, but Saul carries on working as Saul Goodman and Associates. But we know that Lalo is in fact dead because after the massacre perpetrated by Gus, Mike, and Jesse in season 4 (episode S04E10 "Salud"), Gus tells Hector (aka tio Salamanca) in the next episode that the name Salamanca dies with Hector. There's no way Gus could've said that to Hector without knowing for certain that ALL Salamancas are in fact dead (Tuco and the twins were killed by Hank, Lalo was killed by Gus (or Mike) and Joaquin shot dead by Jesse as they (Gus/Mike/Jesse) made their escape from Don Eladios' mansion following the death of the boss and his capos via poison). With this in mind, Lalo is killed by Gus with the help of Mike and possibly Saul given that Saul does know about Gus in BB. "What you two need is an honest-to-God businessman. Somebody who treats your product like the simple high-margin commodity that it is. Somebody who ships out of town, deals only in bulk. Someone who's been doing this for 20 years and never been caught." Saul tells this to Walt and Jesse in season 2 (S02E11 "Mandala"). Gus, Mike and Saul know each other, so it's safe to assume that Saul had a part in Lalo's demise. How exactly? I'm not sure, but surely it was a big enough part that he has had to look over his shoulder. OR, maybe he only had a small part and he didn't know what exactly happened to Lalo but he suspects that he might still be out there. These are just theories of course. The writers of BB and BCS are masters of their craft so I'm sure I'm only half right. Also, Gus told Mike he needed a soldier, and here's Mike as a literal soldier. I'm pretty sure Mike was in the Vietnam War given that he's very proficient with the M40 sniper rifle that he was using this episode. Back when Nacho planned to kill Tuco, Mike talked to the underground gun seller and they both seem to know a lot about the M40, so yeah, Mike is a veteran of the Vietnam War. And yes Nikki, you're correct, Nacho's actor Michael Mando was featured heavily in a video game. It's called Far Cry 3 released in 2012. He was one of the main antagonists of the game and the cutscenes featuring him were great. The game itself was very good and it's my favorite Far Cry game.

Not worth a select choice but just for your curosity satisfication: Nacho in a video game. Ironically I thought at the time I played the game, that the character was a little inspired by Tuco. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lq5WROyelIs

2023-01-22 20:17:30 I dunno guys & gals, Jimmy/Saul never has had an issue doing what HE wants or feels like doing. He surely didn't seem to have a problem with throwing Kim a huge, unexpected curve ball at the Mesa Verde meeting.... something that he knew absolutely could have ramifications with his relationship with her so I don't think him becoming the fast talking, almost happy-go-lucky guy we know of in BrBa would be out of the realm of possibility, even if something unfortunate were to happen to KIm. He's always been a guy who has done what he's felt he's needed to do, regardless of how it might affect any of his personal relationships whether it be professional or even friends & family. As long as it's good for Jimmy'Saul it's all good.... man. I thought maybe "Gene" would have it in him to be able to summon the power within to sacrifice for someone else, but it appears he rediscovered his inner Jimmy/Saul the last time we saw him. One way or another, he's either gonna live or die as Slippin' Jimmy/Saul Goodman.... he knows no other way. He never has.
