2023-01-22 20:17:55 I keep watching the show, but damn AMC, you've told us about Rick's last episode so many times with countdowns and promos that when he was impaled I was just like "yeah, of course... this will drag out through next episode." I wasn't even phased. We all know his last scenes are coming in one way or another. :-|

I hate that they told us, repeatedly, over and over, that Rick is leaving. Down to the specific episode. I feel like no matter how they do it, it's gonna suck, cause we know something is coming. Hope I'm wrong...

Yeah, the shock and emotion we all could've had when we witness his last moments - no matter how it all goes down - would have been richer and deeper, I think. I'm sure AMC knew Andy Lincoln's departure as a member of the cast would eventually leak to the public, so maybe they wanted to preemptively take action? IDK. Feels spoiled to me I guess.
