The heart attack didn't make sense to me. it just didn't fit. Why have him survive the prison guard attack just to have that happen? Makes me feel like either they had to write him off of the show for some reason or Sofia had something to do with it.

The actors/writers break down every episode after the credits. The actor for Sal Maroni felt it was the perfect way for his character to go. The death of his wife and son, his whole operation/gang crumbling. Then fighting the person that is responsible for all of it (Oz). The emotional stress was too much which led to his heart attack. If you don’t like it, I understand, but it definitely makes sense.

I find it hilarious so many people think he should've said it was a bomb with the time left I don't think it would've matter it almost didn't make it so he should waste more time than they all die
