catching up, and I just cried too🥲! John saying to the chief of police: you used to have the stomach to keep the pirates at bay. It’s so much more impactful when you marry it with the scene in the woods. 100 years ago that’s how the ranch took care of biz. The modern day is keeping the Dutton ranch from staying out of the hands of greedy pirates. Cowboys can’t be true Cowboys of the land. And continuingly finding the story to be SO MUCH MORE EMOTIONAL. now that I’ve seen the prequels because it builds that history and you know how much the Dutton’s surviving means that the family and the weight that John carries. I feel suffocated and strangles watching the modern day play out of the ranch. Just how the motorization feels circling in on the property waiting to pick it pull it and steal it. Welcome home Jayce! Where you belong buddy !!
