So I think Fred was jealous of Jimmy. He was the one that got pissed when they first seen Jimmy's "Y" brand in the bunkhouse in the take a shower scene and he was looking at him sideways when he brought the calf in on the horse. Like he thought he was showing him up or jumping him in line.

This is definitely the episode where you realize how dark the show is with the Train Station, where they can't let anyone leave the ranch that knows their secrets, definitely makes you so much more interested and adds so much more to the show.

this is one of those just flawless episodes of storytelling! The dialogue, the performances, the direction! I love the ending when Kayce is on the ground with the sirens behind him and he sees his wife through the side mirror of the truck.👏🏼 and yeah RIP is everything! He really is the son that John needs. I wish Jon would let him change his name to Dutton and then he could be who runs the ranch next, because he really is the most loyal and the one who loves that place more than Jon. plus Jon raised Rip basically. Bath is literally everything! The sun and the moon and the stars! She’s who I want to grow up and be! And yes, the way that Rip loves Beth is like a romance novel. He really is like the sunshine to her grumpy and it just makes you wish you had that.😭🤍🤍🤍

ps I don’t think I’ve seen Nik watch a show where she’s been emotional every episode. She’s teared up and literally every single episode so far! I wish I could tell you that it gets less emotional, but it doesn’t. lol

Yeah, he got branded first so I kind of feel like he feels like he didn’t earn it

The band in the episode is Whiskey Myers. Phenomenal band and I highly recommend listening to their music
