This says episode 5, but it should be 6.

I can't help but be a little disappointed with this one. I wish they had met with more of the old group. I get that it can be kinda hard to make that happen though. For what it was it was ok, considering they only had 6 episodes.

Seeing the kids running toward Rick & Michonne broke me. Best ever. Now I need to see the whole reunion. This series cannot end until Carol meets up with Daryl, and Rick with Negan, and most importantly of all, that Daryl & Rick have their bro moment one last time. Then everyone else together again. They should make it one big banger of a movie. That'll be great! At least now we can put an end to Rick being gone from the group.

AMC released a new teaser yesterday for "The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon: The Book of Carol", starring Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride.

I was expecting more tears! I was an absolute mess! Overall I enjoyed the episode and got everything I needed from it, but it had its flaws as an ep, but I can forgive them because ultimately I was here for the Rick / Michonne story, more than hoping this was setting up future big bad scenarios and so I feel satisfied. And that final scene is one of my favourites in anything. Just beautiful. And the music was gorgeous. My biggest grumble - Rick leaving the hand. Sure, I get the symbolism of it being linked to the CRM and he's leaving that behind, but Rick isn't an idiot and that hand was a useful weapon, which it made no sense for him to be without in the final plan to bring it down. I can't see a season 2 of this, as that felt complete, but I definitely think Andy will pop up in the Daryl show to give fans that reunion. Plus, maybe with the Negan/Maggie one being set at least 6years ahead maybe that's something that could involve him, Michonne, older Judith etc., but I loved that this show really brought their story to a happy end.

I agree about the hand. It would've been way better in my opinion if Rick had kept the hand on for the final plan, and then when they were leaving at the end they could've shown a shot of him throwing the hand on the ground, leaving it behind.

This episode wasn’t as good overall as it could have been. Besides that I was a crying mess during the reunion with the kids.

After this ending I believe Carol was talking about rick and michonne coming back on the radio when she was calling Daryl before he left to france

I understand their desire to have spin offs but hear me out .... game of thrones covered different stories on different continents by just pacing the story. Why couldnt they do the same with walking dead. If they had kept everything centralised in one show they might have not suffered such a loss in viewership as most of the spin offs were perceived as just generic spin offs, not continuations of the main characters stories.

Can’t believe I’m just getting a chance to watch it with you, yes I’ve already watched but I like to back for reaction and even with AMC+ I now have to rent it. May just quit paying for plus.😢
