Weekly Update #9 (Patreon)

Can't believe it's already the ninth weekly update. Even more unbelievable is how I managed to do so little in that amount of time _(:3」∠)_ But that's what I'm going to change going forward. So let's get right into it! Let's welcome the final heroine for the adventure eroge (I haven't decided on a name yet, but I'll have one up for the demo).

Valerie Bright

A proud but fallen noble. Her family was torn apart when her father, a famed swordsman, was killed by Bahamut. Her older brothers and sisters who also participated in the battle ended up either dead or crippled. Soon after, her mother died of sorrow, leaving her as the only able person in the family. In an instant, the famous Brights were extinguished.

She joined the Hunt to avenge her family and reclaim their honor. Though she inherited her father's talent with the sword, she pales in comparison to her older siblings, a fact often brought up by other people. She has a bit of an attitude, turning off even more people. But only those who persist and sympathize with her know that she's truly a loving and caring person. She cherishes her family, and those who she treats as friends, very dearly.

She is an upstanding and prolific member of the Hunt and the only heroine acquainted with MC at the start of the story.

Hm hmmm~ Not a lot changed from her earlier design but I kinda dig this offshoulder for her. Might not be fitting for a swordsman but hey this is entertainment design :3

I've been talking a lot with my writer Zetsubou (https://twitter.com/zetsubougames) and he's been helping me hash out a lot of things. You know, writers really are something else. They can take a mess of an idea and turn it into something coherent. I'm always amazed when I see that in action. Anyway, we've been ironing out character and the story details and he should start writing the actual script once I finish the outline for the introduction.

I know that this all sounds vague to you guys right now, but rest assured that we're getting somewhere with this project. Next week, it's finally Miranda Crowe's turn as well as the revised profile for Eleanor Moon (or Eleanor Mom as I like to call her :3) Depending on progress, I might be able to whip up an early alpha build for Contributor patrons ($10) by November 19. So that's something to look forward to (´ ω｀)

That's it for this week! I know it's not a lot, but we're actually in actual production right now so I'm kind of jumping around. I am slowly getting used to this whole thing though so maybe things will pick up soon. Speaking of picking up, the wind is picking up where I live. Apparently, I'm in another super typhoon and I'm smack right in its path. I'm well prepared this time though, so I probably won't go into another existential crisis haha
