Sometimes you’ve got to go back to go forward...

Usually by now you would have received the first of the monthly art rewards unfortunately due to some family issues this month I have the time available for art cut to about 25% of what it would usually be.

This has given me added pressure to get work done faster and maybe risk that quality might not be high.

I was working on art rewards late last night and felt that something felt a bit off with the painting. I went back to my original sketch for the painting and realised that somewhere along the line I had lost the ‘magic’ that was still in the original sketch but not in the painting.

I took the tough decision to scrap much of the painting and work with the sketch again. A couple of hours down the line and I now feel the painting is back on track.

It does mean the first reward for this month is about a week away from completion. The second reward is likely to slip into very late January or early February though the sketches are already done.

Everybody who paid their pledge for the month will still get their rewards just a little late and I hope normal service will resume soon.
