The mournful la-la music that plays when Lorelai stands under the chuppa is my favorite soundtrack cue from the Gilmore Girls score, and it debuts in this episode. It isn't used a ton, but I love every time that music plays from here till the end of the show.

I enjoy this episode, but in some ways this is Lorelei and Rory at their most annoying, especially their attitude at the B & B. I mean sure, it’s weird and boring, but they barely manage to be civil. It’s also always seemed a little strange to me how committed Rory and Lorelei is to the goal of getting to Harvard, but how little they seem to know about what that actually requires. Maybe I’m being too nit-picky. It is fun overall, and I love the reactions from Emily and especially from Luke. But keep an eye out going forward for Lorelei and Rory revealing big blind spots and making huge assumptions. “Entitled” is too simplistic, but it’s in the ballpark.

Privilege, defo. But I think entitled will make an appearance later in the run *eesh*. To be fair though, that B&B is legit the stuff of my nightmares, so I'm *kinda* with them on that one.
