1) You might recognize the 2 newscasters. The guys is David Fury, Buffy/Angel writer who you might remember as the “They got... the mustard... ouuuuuuttt!” guy. And the female Newscaster is Marty Noxon, Joss’ right hand on Buffy, producer, and the lady trying to sing her way out of a parking twicket! 2). One of the three cowboys singing the Bad Horse songs is Joss’ brother. 3). One might say... Dr. Horrible got everything he ever wanted, and all it cost him was a single Penny.

Also one of the 3 Capt Hammer fans is Maurissa Tancharoen. Wife of Jed Whedon. She’s also a writer/producer on Dollhouse and Agents of Shield. She also starred in a season 6 episode of Agents of Shield.
