I love this episode. I won't spoil anything, but despite being so super clingy, Todd is really lovable! As always, I love Meghan in these episodes, even though she only gets 1 or 2 scenes.

I do love how well they cut open the trope of the “cute, lovable guy who just wants a chance,” who everybody thinks is adorable and plucky, but whose “target” is made to feel increasingly cornered and even kind of threatened. It’s actually one of the earliest shows I can think of that really examined the very popular but wrongheaded idea that a guy can “win a girl” through persistence, through making a pest of himself.
