This is one of my favorite episodes. When Michael kept harping on about "Friends" in S1, even Eleanor was surprised by how granular he got — I think Michael really did love "Friends," and it struck something in his grinchy demon heart. "The reason is friends. You're my friend, Janet." Oh, it kills me every time. I love the flashback friendship story and how much both Michael and Janet have evolved and holy cow, Janet can make people now?!
