I've been looking forward to this episode since you started the show. Not to be a parrot for everyone above, but it really is an amazing episode and definitely one of my favourites. I am such a sucker for the whole teen angst, high school drama stuff. And it's so sweet to see Lorelai and Emily bonding, even as I know it's all about to come crashing down. Those end scenes are just fantastic. You can see everyones point of view as well, which just makes the whole thing so tragic.

I agree with what everyone’s said. It’s an amazing episode. I think Dean said, “Because I’ll kill you!” After saying he wouldn’t fight Tristan and Tristan asked why not. So he’s basically saying that IF they fought, Tristan is definitely not up to it and he’d lose. So it’s more of an insult or even a reality check ... I mean, look at Dean and look at Tristan. Would Tristan be wise to take on Dean? I don’t think so. It’s a good moment for Dean because he could have just beat Tristan up instead of warning him off.
